HERDSA is a scholarly society for individuals committed to the advancement of higher and tertiary education.
Established in 1972 to promote the development of higher education policy, practice and the study of teaching and learning. HERDSA has been going strong for 50 years. Encouraging and disseminating research on teaching, learning and higher education development. It works to build strong academic communities. The conference is a cornerstone of HERDSA’s community-building.
Delegates came from across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Singapore to share ideas and to connect. The HERDSA 2025 conference focused on providing delegates with the invaluable opportunity to connect: to each other, to new ideas, and to the HERDSA communities of practice. This 4-day conference was held as both an in-person and virtual event, accommodating diverse participation preferences and expanding accessibility for the global higher education community.
