Expert Events is a member of the Brisbane Convention Partnership (BCP) which brings together a group of highly experienced professional conference organisers with the prime objective of supporting the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre convention clients in successfully bidding for major conferences through the provision of expert logistical, planning and financial advice. BCP partners are recognised for their experience and success in international conventions and all have offices in Brisbane.
Expert Events is a member of the Professional Conference Organisers Association (PCOA). The PCOA is the leading body representing the interests of Professional Conference Organisers and Event Managers in Australia and New Zealand. The Association’s objectives are to increase the standard of professionalism of its members and promote a better understanding of the roles, functions and contributions of Professional Conference Organisers and Event Managers and other practitioners in the conference and event sector.
In addition, Lidia Dalton is a certified event manager with accreditation from the PCOA. Together, we are committed to providing the highest quality event management business practices, professional standards and have a dedication to continuous improvement.
The event project management software provider Expert Events use to support the running of our meetings and conferences is called EventsAIR, which enables us to better manage registrations, abstract submissions, sponsors and exhibitors, and all other event particulars.
In 2020 the team at EventsAIR developed a product extension of the current software called OnAIR, the brand new virtual event platform. The platform is fully integrated with our existing software and provides us with the ability to run a full virtual conference program or a hybrid/mixed event. The team at Expert Events were some of the first to become Certified Virtual Event Planners, who excel at running online events such as conferences and meetings through the online platform by EventsAIR.
